James Andrews Sponsored Golf Festival & Competition Week – 4* Islantilla
This is the second James Andrews Golf Festival and Competition week after the very sucessful one last year. We will be building on the foundation and input from our guests and it should be even better this year.
There will be pairs and individual prizes each day in this fun and freindly week for all golfers.
We will also be doing some golf tuition classes, sports finess classes and the mental approach to playing your best through the week.
We are restricting numbers to 80 golfers and 20 spots for beginners to learn through the week. This is a perfect opportunity for the non golfing partner to join you in a fun learning enviroment with lessons all week and playing 9 holes on the last 2 days.
This trip is suitable for single golfers, couples and friends and is a fun social golf holiday structured to be an enjoyable way to meet like-minded people and enjoy the quality Islantilla, Spain has to offer.
We are planning a fun competition week for all levels. There will be daily prizes for individuals and teams and on course nearest the pin for men and women.
James, Joe and Tim and other guest professionals will be onsite to offer clinics through the week on all areas of the game. You are free to join all clinics or drop in on the ones you would like to. Full calendar will be available closer to the travel date.

My husband and I went on a James Andrews golf holiday to islantilla not quite knowing what to expect with so many people… but soon as we arrived James and crew organised everything to perfection even the weather!! Such a fantastic trip everyone mingled and we made so many friends. The golf course and hotel were fantastic and nothing was ever to much for James Joe or Tim always happy to help. Soon as we got back we booked again for next year.. hopefully meet old friends and maybe some new ones too and obviously see James Joe and Tim for another top class golf holiday.
A “must for any level of golfer”
Having been on 2 coaching holidays with James Andrews I decided to try the competition week in Islantilla. As usual, everything was perfectly organised and a great venue was selected by James and the team. The hotel was superb but with a buffet style breakfast and dinner you need to be careful of the waistline. The food was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed, as well as the wine on our table each evening.
The golf format was brilliant as we all enjoyed a practice round before we got down to business in the following days. It is a competition but you get to play in pairs and foursomes as well as a scramble with the emphasis being on fun and friendly whilst being competitive too. Perfect for all levels and as a mid-range handicapper I was more than happy. There were golfers who had very high handicaps as well as those in single figures and it worked perfectly.
James and the team put on extra tuition and skills classes to help us all improve and it was greatly appreciated. I wasn’t expecting this when I booked but knowing James it didn’t surprise me that he made sure we all got as much out of the week as possible. Thanks for that James
If you are looking for a fun golf holiday with brilliant coaches, friendly people and want to enjoy some competitive golf, no matter what your level, then this holiday is a must. I’ll be going next year for certain and it’ll be great to see some newly made friends once more.
