Golf Tuition Holiday – Grand Hyatt La Manga Club Golf & Spa.
One of the best 5-star hotels in the Region of Murcia that has 192 fully equiped and comfortable rooms with the highest quality of service guaranteed.
La Manga is one of my personal favourite destinations.
The practice facilities are superb and allow us to bring 2 Trackman 4’s so we can video and analyse your swing and ball flight in the covered range. With 4 short game areas and 2 putting greens we also get penty of oppertunity to fine tune the scoring element of your game.
La Manga has 3 18 hole golf courses onsite, North Course, South Course and West Course all offering their own unique tests.
The South course was refurbished in 2004, and as a result, you can expect lush fairways and manicured greens. Accuracy is key playing this course as water hazards come into play on 15 of the 18 holes!
The North is often considered to be the slightly easier golf course on the resort. The amazing condition matches that of it’s neighbour the South course. Although significantly shorter in length, the North is more undulating but still presents a fantastic test of golf.
The West course is a more strategic test, hitting it straight rather than long is essential as the course. Due to the West Courses condition we did not play it November 22 but we like to add it for variety if possible!
Expect to see the sun! La Manga Club enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year and is easily accessible from Región de Murcia International Airport by a short 35 minute transfer.
Our coaching holidays focus on each golfer acheiving their own goals so our first task is to undstand your game and how we can help you the most.
On arrival we group golfers of similar ability and each group assigned a golf professional for the duration of the holiday. Work then starts with 7 hours tuition a day on and off the course so we can fully understand and help on all areas of the game. The 3 hours in the mornings are dedicated to swing, bunkers, putting and chipping techniques and the afternoon a mix of strategy, course management, mental appraoch and committing to your swing as your professional monitors you as you play 18 holes.
At the end of the week golfers leave with a compehensive understanding of their game, how to improve and all the tricks to get the most out of every game, learn to win ugly!
The fun continues in the evening when all the groups get together for dinner in the onsite restaurants and we also head out to the best local restautnts for 3 meals (drinks included). The evenings are a social affair to unwind and share golfing stories hosted by your professional.
All our trips are suitable for single golfers, couples and freinds of all standards. Please indicate your standard on booking or reserving a place so we can match similar abilities together.

Thank you so much for a super golf coaching holiday in La Manga . .. .. a lovely group of people , very well organised , two very friendly , excellent coaches who really listened to Individual needs . Course management in the afternoons was invaluable !
Huge thanks to Joe who very supportively and patiently adjusted my swing and enabled me to be back on the golf course after a 5 month gap because of a shoulder injury .
Thanks to you both for a great golfing , action packed and fun week .
My wife Alex and I participated in the James Andrews Golf tuition holiday at La Manga in November 2022. I am an intermediate golfer and my wife only started playing last year and this was our first golfing tuition holiday. Suffice to say that in every respect the holiday met or exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in every aspect of the holiday was quite exceptional. On the golfing side we were separated into groups of four similar standard players for coaching sessions and actual rounds of golf. Alex had Joe Queen as her coach and I had Mark Davies. Both pros were excellent – combining encouragement with enormous levels of patience. Their coaching expertise and ability to deliver tailored tuition to both the groups and individual group members resulted in a solid learning and improvement experience. The courses and practice facilities at La Manga are superb for a golf tuition holiday format.
Away from the golf setting, the social arrangements were equally well organised and thoroughly enjoyable. We had dinner in four different restaurants away from the hotel and enjoyed the very best of Spanish food and wine in each. The opportunity to socialise with the other golfers and with James and his fellow coaches was a particular highlight of the holiday. This helped us all get to know each other which in turn helped put us at ease in the golf tuition setting.
In summary then, Alex and I both loved our golf tuition holiday and would highly recommend James Andrews Golf to anyone looking to improve their golf game while enjoying a first-class holiday in the sun.
Thanks for such an amazing time on the Golf tuition holiday. It’s the first time I have ever done anything like this but I absolutely loved it.
It went above and beyond my expectations, I love working with people who are passionate and detailed about what they do and you are one of those people for sure and I really appreciated that.
All your coaches and other members of the team were great as well, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone and working with you.
Normally when I do an event, a course, visit a restaurant or something like that, I always look around and think about how any aspect of it could be improved, not in a critical or judgemental way, but more in a way of if I ran it what would I change? but I can honestly say I didn’t really have any of those moments on your trip as I thought it was really well, structured and paced. The coaching was top notch and covered everything I wanted to learn , the restaurants were fantastic. Communications were great, lots of attention to detail with the smaller things. I honestly can’t fault it, I would definitely like to come on another trip soon.
Just arrived home after a week at La Manga. What a great week. Super venue, three lovely courses, good food and good company.
Highly recommended
