Sitting on the Gilão River with five elegant arched bridges, this classic town is quintessentially Eastern Algarve. Quinta da Ria Resort is situated within the beautiful Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, just over ten minutes from Tavira, and is home to the championship golf courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima.

Quinta da Ria was designed by world renowned golf course architect Rocky Roquemore. Stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Cacela Velha beach can be enjoyed when playing this excellent layout. The course has five lakes and the the most iconic hole is the 17th that includes a small island, now a sanctuary for endangered rare birds. The natural landscape has been maintained in the design of this course that features thousands of ancient carob and olive trees. If you love nature, you’ll feel right at home at Quinta da Ria.

Designed by the same architect, Quinta de Cima was envisaged as the championship course at this resort. With undulating greens, dog leg holes, well positioned bunkers and natural creeks running through the course, it’s a fantastic challenge.
